analgesic action by Acetic Acid induced method. The ethanolic extract in doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg of Body weight showed
35.76 and 80.47% inhibition of writhing movements, respectively compared to that of standard Ibuprofen (100%). The
ethanolic extract showed dose-dependent action in all the experimental models. The results were analyzed for statistical
significance using one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s test. A P value < 0.001 is considered significant.
<Email>jyothi3254@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2014</year><keyword>Acetic acid induced pain,Ibuprofen,Writhing movement</keyword><AUTHORS>Kuruva Jyothirmai,Alekhya M,Besta Chandrasekhar,Sareddy Harinatha Reddy,Yeggoni Sreenivasulu,Radha D</AUTHORS><afflication>St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India,St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India,St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India,St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India,St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India,St.John’s Collge of Pharmaceutical sciences, Yerrakota, Yemminganur, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India</afflication></Article></Articles>
