26ANTIPYRETIC EFFECT OF AQUEOUS EXTRACT OF FAGONIA CRETICA L. WHOLE PLANT ON BREWER’S YEAST INDUCED PYREXIA IN WISTAR RATSThe present research evaluate the antipyretic effects of aqueous extract of whole plant of Fagonia cretica L. (Zygophyllaceae) were investigated at doses 250mg/kg b.w. and 500mg/kg b.w. using brewer’s yeast-induced pyrexia tests. Oral administration aqueous extract of whole plant of Fagonia cretica L. produced significantly (P<0.01) reduced the elevated body temperature of rats.
