neurobehavioral function and dysfunction. They also exhibit a wide range of behaviours that are relevant to human
neurobiology, including learning, memory, anxiety, and social interactions. The zebrafish model of development has been
used to model a variety of neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Parkinson's disease.
The use of these models to identify genes and environmental factors that contribute to these disorders and to develop new
treatments has been described. The development of new methods for high-throughput tests of cognitive function for fish can
provide means for rapid screening of potential toxicants as well as promising therapeutic agents
<Email>vsureshsph@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>13</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2023</year><keyword>Diabetes mellitus, Antidiabetic, Medicinal plants, Alternative medicine, Herbal supplements</keyword><AUTHORS>Dr. Suresh V,Dr. Senthil Kumar S K,Hemalatha V,Jamila Mary A,Jeenath J,Karthikar M, Karthikraja P</AUTHORS><afflication>Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology, Arunai College of Pharmacy, Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India,Principal, Arunai College of Pharmacy, Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India,B.
